Default EZ's baby sweater in the almanac

Hi, I need help with a 'thing' I am trying, wanting to do. Has anyone here
made the baby sweater in Eliz. Zimmermann's Knitting almanac?
I have made the sweater a few times and I love it. I would like to
try to adapt it to an adult size for myself but I don't quite know
where to start. Can someone give me some help? Can I adapt the
percentages and apply them to an adult sweater? Any help is
appreciated. I belong to the EZ groups on yahoo, but I haven't found the
answers there.
Thanks ahead of time, Maggie madly knitting and watering the desert

On p24 of my copy of the Almanac EZ gives the percentages for the baby
sweater. If you know your gauge for that yarn and those needles (those
being the ones you want to use for the adult sweater) plus the measurements
of the intended wearer you should quite easily be able to turn out an adult
version of the baby sweater.

Post your gauge and measurements and I'll see if I can work out the numbers
for you.

Only hitch is that adults aren't the same proportions as babies. You might
want to look at the modifications EZ did to the percentages when adapting
the Baby Surprise Jacket to adult proportions and take a cue from them.
