Looking for an antique jewelry box in or around San Francisco
I'm trying to find a Christmas gift for my wife. A few days ago she was
complaining that she hates the box she keeps her jewelry in and I thought, "Aha!". Unfortunately, I have no idea where to find such a thing. Ideally I'd like to find a nice-looking antique piece (preferably under $200), but I don't know which of the 500,000 antique and jewelry stores in the bay area I should go to. Any recommendations? I can get myself anywhere in San Francisco or the east bay. Oh, and I should note that she would prefer something in a more classic style, so all the stores in the Haight with names like "Treasures of Indonesia" are probably out. Thanks a lot, Tom |
