Subject: Anyone know a good source for Bird Beads?

I did a search for you and came up with these. I haven't purchased

anything
from these vendors so I don't know anything about their quality, service,
etc.

Ceramic parrot & some kind of blue/yellow bird

http://www.namebeads.com/designdiscs...OVMTC=standard
These carry ceramic beads... I saw a hummer, a macaw and a cardinal, they
may be able to get the birds you want and they ship worldwide

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...sort=3&rows=50
Pewter Bird Charms

Lampworked beads

http://www.wildaboutbeads.com/cgi-bi..._ Beads:Birds
Peruvian ceramic birds

http://www.shipwreckbeads.com/?subsu...ageField6.y=25
More lampworked birds (these are probably too expensive, but eye candy)

Ditto

I am particularly looking for parrots, cockatiels, budgies, finches...
"domesticated" birds.

So far the only source that I found that was both nice enough (I hope)
and within my budget was Silver Castle (a great place for silver charms
btw!

http://corporate.auctionworks.com/st...01&sfi d=6770
).

They don't have all of the bird types I am looking for, though.

I am looking for nice quality silver, porcelain, or glass for
single-digit prices. (I guess that means I am out of luck for lampwork
).

I have already gone to most of the sites on Sooz's link list (and sent
her a list of defunct links ).

Thanks!

marisa2

ps - as it turns out the Chicagoland Bird Society rents tables at their
semi-annual bird show and they have lots of bird-toy vendors but no
jewelry vendors! Several said they would buy parrot-related jewelry if
they could!

Too late! I got this one.

Marisa, if you ever want to find something, just enter the word in eBay's
Search. You eventually will find it there.

Sooz,

I looked on eBay once, but I stupidly didn't think of checking
again...it being eBay and all...
