Orbs?
Why am I seeing lentil shaped lampwork being called "orbs"? Orbs are
spheres. Lentils are shapes like convex lenses (hence the name). Tina

"Orrbs" are lentils with straighter sides named by Corina, after Calvin Orr
who originally made that shape with a graphite tool. CattWalk calls theirs 'buttons'. Yes, what Lori said. Here is a picture from Corina's site where she
shows lentils and orbs together. Lentils have a "U" shape at the bead hole, this one supposedly doesn't. I don't have this press but it seems fairly popular. It looks like the outer edge might be a bit thicker too. http://www.corinabeads.com/go/popup.php?pgid=3 Teresa, www.lavendercreek.gmxhome.de
