Hello everyone,
Thanks to those kind people who sent kind thoughs about my less than optimal year. Building permit approved last week so we start building in a month. We hope. I have been busy with my new computer and digital camera and finally posted the final shotsof my first (and only) completed quilt. Here's the link and I DO hope it works: http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/...51320397QNymSl I have dug out my stash and dusted off the Janome and found a free pattern on the WWW and started a new quilt. I'm using up some fabric I bought on EBay when I started quilting. So, it's PURPLE! Florals, butterflies and a couple of blenders. But I used up most of it. Very simple strips in 16" blocks to make a lap quilt. Will post pics on Webshots when everyone has a pair of sunglassses ready. Back to the Machine. What a lovely idea, Fay!
It's a great quilt - interesting pattern and really good colours. Thanks for sharing your very special first quilt. Now have fun with your 'purple people eater'! (couldn't resist that, although it dates me terribly!). .. In message , Fay writes Hello everyone, Thanks to those kind people who sent kind thoughs about my less than optimal year.
