Hello everyone,
Thanks to those kind people who sent kind thoughs about my less than
optimal year. Building permit approved last week so we start building
in a month. We hope.
I have been busy with my new computer and digital camera and finally
posted the final shotsof my first (and only) completed quilt. Here's
the link and I DO hope it works:

http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/...51320397QNymSl

I have dug out my stash and dusted off the Janome and found a free
pattern on the WWW and started a new quilt. I'm using up some fabric I
bought on EBay when I started quilting. So, it's PURPLE! Florals,
butterflies and a couple of blenders. But I used up most of it. Very
simple strips in 16" blocks to make a lap quilt. Will post pics on
Webshots when everyone has a pair of sunglassses ready.

Back to the Machine.

What a lovely idea, Fay!
It's a great quilt - interesting pattern and really good colours.
Thanks for sharing your very special first quilt.

Now have fun with your 'purple people eater'! (couldn't resist that,
although it dates me terribly!).
