Default leaded windows

I wish to make leaded windows in a doll-house.I have tried the thick,
pasty type of black paint which result in unrealistic thick lines of
non-uniform thickness sometimes.Has anyone a better method to apply
the 'lead'such that it looks more realistic?

There is a product made especially for that. It's a thin, flat metallic
tape. My BW used it in a class from Brooke Tucker, and I have no idea
what it's called or where to get it.

Oh - here's a site I just found (just by googling on Miniature Stained
Glass): Look here
http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/H...157/sghelp.htm

There were a couple of other appropriate sites, but that one looks like
the best of the lot.

Not sure if this will help but at the craft store they had kits to do small
leading projects. They also had tiny 'lead' lines to lay on top of glass.
It was pretty cheap. If you have a craft store near, ask someone if they
carry glass leading kits. If this helps, it was next to those cheesy little
plastic suncatchers that kids paint with gel paint and hang in windows.
Hehe.
