Dull Gray Pink
Thank you, Sandy. I was wondering if bleach kept 'right on ticking'. It
does seem to carry a powerful bleach smell many rinses later. Polly "Sandy Ellison" wrote in message ... Howdy! It's good to have a product to stop the bleach. Otherwise, bleach keeps bleaching, encouraging that fabric to deteriorate. Bleach Stop or AntiChlor are neutralizers, as is ascorbic acid (Vitamin C tablets). Other options: backing fabric. Join the Baseball Swap, cutting that rinky-dink-pink into 6 1/2" squares to "share" w/ other swappers. Use it for a rag rug; no one can tell if it gets muddy. Thank you all but I believe I'll just try Leslie's idea and do some bleaching. If that fails, I can always mail it to Canada. Good shot, Jennell. Polly "jennellh" wrote in message ups.com... Send them both up to Canada where things do seem brighter when the nights begin to cool a little. jennellh ) On Aug 27, 9:14 am, "Polly Esther" wrote: Fabric shopping in the Swamp has to be done online. For the most part, it goes very nicely but last week two fabrics I ordered are not a pretty sight. Instead of the pastel pure pink that they appeared to be on my monitor, they are downright ugly. Both of them are a sad muddy mood that's downright depressing. Attempting an optimistic approach, perhaps they could be paired with something that would make the 'something' become even brighter. Aside from burying them in the orchard or making a whole lot of kite tails, do you have any ideas? Polly |

I bought an Ipod case for my wife which is sort of pale Barbie Pink, and the headphones and the cord that plugs into it are Kermit the frog green. Every time I ride behind her on the bike trail and see that combo sticking out of her back Jersey pocket it gives me a lift. It looks like she is on her way to a Jimmy Buffett Concert. Very Caribbean. I think I will try something along those lines. I think it is good to step outside your "usual" color choices, once in awhile. John |

where are the Poiple People?
What a surprise. I was really expecting a response from the Poiple People.
I was kind of guessing they would insist that the power of purple could bring anything to life - maybe leaning slightly towards blue or red. Perhaps we need to worry about what they might be up to. Start worrying big time cause I ain't telling and I ain't showing and I
ain't having Drag and Brag for the near foreseeable future. Figured you had enough of 'gimmes' and advisors that you didn't need my nickel's worth: ) Butterfly (Duly refraining from saying what the gators would have done if you made bed covers outta it for them) ..
