Summer has definitely started here! It's getting HOT by 10 a.m. That means
it's really time to adjust my schedule but I'm struggling to get into the
groove. Wednesday I think I did more staring at the torch than actual
melting. sigh I know this happens and I know it gets better. I had a few
"glimmers" yesterday, in fact.

Valorie Cox...frit pusher extraordinaire, is now pimping glass rods. She's
EVIL! I'm hooked. My favorite bead so far is cooling in the kiln. Proof that
I need to stretch more and use unlikely colors (for me). In the meantime, I
started off "safe" with a pretty pink rod. OMG, it's luscious!

I've also listed a nifty etched bicone in teal and purple (with palladium
inside), a plummy boro round, and my other "lesson" in unlikely colors:

Over on Ebay, I'm messing with staggered listings so only one is up so far
(my favorite), a "come & get me" set in vibrant red and gold leaf:

Wandering in on that one's stiletto heels are a berry fritted bicone, a
funny boro (almost) round that made me grin making it, and a subtle little
set in amethyst studded with silver "dust."

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

Oh I love Miss Scarlett! I had to bid.

And yes, Val is an evil frit pusher. I can't get enough and I love the
gaffer rods! Heavenly.
