I mentioned "hem tape" when I was among a group of quilters. Someone asked
what I meant.

Sigh.

Nann
who wore a new pair of slacks yesterday and realized the hems had been
turned up only once--forgot to finish them! Had hem tape been used then
that omission would have been detected way before lunchtime.

No takers yet. Maybe this group doesn't know what it is, either. *grin*

Know what it is---just not using it in my present sewing life. Now THAT was
fun to write : )
Use to make ALL my clothes....seems like quilting has taken over that area.

I know what it is but I try to avoid sewing clothes if I can.

Maybe you can use it to embellish a quilt. Or, pawn it off on your
husband and tell him it's the latest thing in art quilt making and
perhaps he will come up with a use for it.

Martha Stewart does a lot of crafts with hem tape. Maybe you could
channel her for a bit and weave a thanksgiving centerpiece or something.

If no one here can use it, I'll hang on to it until spring. Assuming I can
still find it then, I'll bring it to guild and drop in it the box of sewing
supplies they bring to the women's homeless shelter. (I really wish they'd
collect for this every month! I can't count how many times I've missed
donating because my brain was too full to remember when it was.)

Now if someone would just tell me where I put my Laura Wasilowski book...

I sent a private email on the l7th asking if you still had
the hem tape and didn't get any answer on it. My email
probably bounced. But if you still have it, please email
me privately.
