Default source for pre-cut bible paper

I'm looking for a source of 8 1/2 x 11" bible paper. It is also known
as India Paper or China paper. Bible paper is the very thin but
relatively opaque paper that's traditionally used for Bibles.
Technically, it's usually 10-16 lb. paper that's heavily loaded
(historically with clay) to make it opaque despite its thinness.

The only thin opaque paper I've been able to find outside of huge
printing press rolls is Tyvek, which is indeed thin and opaque but
also costs $0.50 per sheet.

I'm hoping to hand-make some little pocket books for my own enjoyment,
using old Bible texts and other public domain texts, but want to keep
them thin. Rice paper and such aren't opaque enough for double-sided
printing.

Suggestions, please?
