New photo on RCTNP
Hi all
I've made a tea cosy for an elderly friend for Christmas, and I am so pleased with the result that I've posted a couple of Pics of it on RCTNP. I'd be thrilled to know what others think of the colours - I have no colour sense at all so always choose very safe neutrals.......boring - I wish I had the confidence to be more adventurous. Cheers Joanne Perth, Western Australia |

There's something elegant about subdued and I don't see it as boring at all. Lucille |

I agree with Lucille on the colors...elegant colors for an elegant design. Unless the elderly friend is a former psychedelic-tie-die- loving hippie, s/he will be very happy with the gift! color sense. I always used to think I had no color sense, either. After some nudging from people here, I started trying different things. Once you try, it becomes easier and easier and your "eye" will tell you if colors will work together. Or not. LOL If *I* think they look good together, I go for it! Spread your wings and fly, Joanne! Joan |
