This is awful, I can't really remember. I did a biscournu for Bobbie V. I
did that Tinkerbelle bookmark for DD's former BFF, I finished the TeddyBear
Paper Dolls

I know I did finish other things, I just can't recall them.

So, now I don't feel so bad! I finished "Motif Madness" by Debbee's Designs
- once, but then had to restitch a lot of it from the class handling it so
much - so it's like a half=finish.

A couple of Little House pieces - Ye Olde Coffee Shop, and the companion
piece

Victoria Sampler "Herb Sachet" - Rosemary
Elizabeth's Designs "Bee Kind" - I should put up a pic

A couple of small baby things

Does it count if I finished starting a bunch of things?

The next questions to ask a
What did you start in 2008 - that you're carrying over into 2009

What do you plan (operative word) to complete in 2009?
AND....Do you have a plan, method, technique for attacking the UFO/WIPs in
2009?

New projects you've saved to start in the new year?

I'm not planning ahead! My only goal right now is
to finish another (somewhat different colors) version of
the Proposal Pillow for a friend's wedding in April. I
can't afford to think about doing anything other than that--
if I get distracted, I'll never make it ;-) I do have a
memorial piece for someone that is mostly done that will
get finished next. But I'm not thinking about that ;-)

Best wishes,
Ericka

I finished stitching 6 (well, 12 if you count both sides) of the Carol
Emmer stuffed nativity pieces I've been working on. Haven't stitched
them together and stuffed them, though.

I also finished (but have finished-finished) stitching "Chill", a pic
of a St. Bernard I mentioned in another post. Since that was supposed
to be a Christmas gift, I'm hoping to get it *done* this weekend.

I guess I also stitched a couple of the Sweetheart Tree's Teeny
Tweenies as a break from my nativity pieces
http://thesweethearttree.com/cgi-bin/detail.pl?SV-T87- and
http://thesweethearttree.com/cgi-bin/detail.pl?SV-T85- (done in blue/
purple/teal variegateds) that I had picked up at CATS in Las Vegas a
couple years ago. Same thing with those...I have finished-finished
them yet. Do we notice a pattern here? LOL!

I finally got around to taking pictures -- must've inherited my father's bad
photographer gene -- I don't cut off heads but things are rarely straight.

Recent and not so recent finishes can be seen at:

The site is somewhat graphic intense so if you're on a slow connection, the
pages may take awhile to load.

Default 2008 Wrap-up - What did you finish this year?

Off the top of my head, I know I finished MLI's "Isabella's Garden" and
"Christmas Visit", "Christmas Music Bellpull" (the first 5 days of the
12 Days of Christmas countdown, complete with bars of music), and
"GMTA". I know there were others that don't come to mind.

One of those good news/bad news things -- if I don't have a lot of work
coming in, I have less money but more time to stitch.

My plans for 2009 were altered by my BFF starting to lose her hair in
reaction to medication and requesting that I knit some hats to cover her
baldness.

N.B., do *not* believe the gauge on the wrapper. I double-checked my
calculations with two calculators (one before and a different one
after), and according to the wrapper, I needed 72 stitches (on needles a
size larger than the ones I was using) to fit her. When it got long
enough to measure, I found 72 stitches yielded 48" around. I'll admit
she's got a fat head, but even hers isn't that big! Rrrrrripppp!

That one's going in the mail today. I was hoping to finish a second
last night, but took a nasty fall, slammed my elbow into the furniture,
and she's going to have to wait for that to stop throbbing before I can
get back to knitting.

Well, it was really instant, but I have FIOS. Your work is stunning, as
always.

I love the idea of putting the glitter paper behind the congress cloth on
the fan. And the middle pillow, with the crewel work in a patchwork setting
really stood out to me- I guess it's my taste.

The Di V NK pieces - I think the first one is what the shop offered as the
more advanced SRE class - well, it's one or the other of them. Definitely
worth the preprinted fabric.

Gorgeous - everything. Thanks so much for sharing.

Ellice - who finished all the tiny Jessicas last night, and got them filled
with 1/16 ribbon/

That's one of the reasons I keep a database of my stuff. I'm aways
forgetting.

Let's see what Access says....

Amy Mitten's Tudor Rose Mystery, Karen Buell's Blueberries and Ladybug
(stumpwork), Canadian Primitive (Charland),Heraldic Rose (Miller), Tudor
Needleroll (Shepherd's Bush), Beehive Purse (Sandy Jenkins), Stumpwork
Strawberries (guild project), Bird of Paradise (Tanya Berlin), Christmas
angel ornament (MLI), Wild Rose (needlepainting - Tanya Berlin),
blackwork maple leaves (self-designed), English Cottage mini rug (Teresa
Layman), Poof the Dragon (standup - Lois Thompson), two bargello mini
stockings (self), Star ornament (Stitch magazine - for Guild ornament
exchange), plus finishing two round robins started in 2007.

Whew - I know I stitch a lot, but even I'm surprised.
