Teeny flowers
Lesley Klopper wrote: kelly wrote Is there anywhere on the web to find instructions and hints on making tiny (but realistic looking) flowers? I can find larger flowers, but they don't carry over to miniatures very well... Kelly, I can really recommend a booklet called "Meyer's Florist Shoppe' by Barbara Meyer ISBN Number 0-933168-29-2. Barbara makes 1/12th scale flowers for dollhouses using bread dough, but poly clay could easily be substituted. Instructions are included for everything from Cyclamen to Orchids , Carnations and Roses. Hopefully this book is still available I think that there are also some polyclay plants and flowers in Sue Heaser's book "Making DollsHouse Miniatures with Polymer Clay" - her web address is http://www.heaser.demon.co.uk/claypit.htm www.polymerclayminiatures.com is getting ready to add tutorials for miniature flowers. |
