OT - ohmygoodnessthankyou!!!
This test was an ultrasound in which they could see every bone of the baby's
body. They got to see all four chambers of the heart, every perfectly formed finger and toe, and spine... They got to see him yawn, and grab his foot, and my son was just flying when he called me! Karen, Queen of Squishies I know from experience that the spinabifida screening has a high rate of false positivies. I don't know that doctors do such a great job of explaining that. When my sister got hers, she got a call from the nurse just saying that the test was positive and that an amnio had to be done. Only after she went for the amnio did someone explain it to her.
