Leafing pens + clay?
I meant to ask... will using a leafing pen cause any kind of adverse
reaction with clay? Thx! Alisa -- http://altjournaljourney.blogspot.com/ --My Altered Journal Journey Art, as far as it is able, follows nature, as a pupil imitates his master; thus your art must be, as it were, God's grandchild. -Dante |

I know the Krylon pen works just fine. Have you checked out
www.glassattic.com yet? Tons of polymer clay information. Diane Villano Vice President, Education and Outreach, National Polymer Clay Guild www.npcg.org "cAndRaley" wrote in message ... Thanks Diane!
After reading your reassurance, I found some of my older work that was highlighted with a Krylon pen. It's holding up nicely and it's been probably over a year. Oh, I did check out glass attic before posting the question and didn't find anything. Thanks again! Is that the kind of leafing pen where the tip heats up and you use that
to transfer foil to another surface? I would think that would melt the clay. I have a leafing pen but haven't tried it on anything except paper. Cheers, Carla cAndRaley wrote: Thanks Diane! Hi Carla,
I haven't tried that kind of leafing pen (for foil) although I'd love to! No, this is just a paint pen (I have 3 different brands) with silver, gold or copper "leafing" paint. I also have some leafing paint that came in a jar; never had good results with that. BTW, haven't I seen a foil transfer on clay; maybe Lisa Pavelka? Cheers to you, too!
