My First Class
Some might think that having a single person show up would be a
dissappointment, but for me it was perfect. My student and I had fun covering real blown eggs with clay, then she took off on her own and covered a pen and made beads! I got to explain a lot of the basics with her, and she saw how mistakes can become an interesting, unplanned, effect. I hope to teach a class this fall, with more students, and turn more people on to the joys of polyclay. Diana -- Queen of FAQs Royal Peace Maker http://photos.yahoo.com/lunamom44 |

I would love it if I was the only one in the class. I took my first class
last Saturday and fell in love with polymer clay. We made a Storyteller. The little babies were the most fun. Yesterday I spent the day gathering things in the house and putting them in my polycorner. LOL I bought some sample packets at walmart and did a sculpture of my husband fishing. I had a blast. I love this stuff. I have been devouring the internet and printing/saving info left & right. This is the first craft I've done that made me feel joy. I laughed and had a great time. My dogs think I'm insane now. LOL -- Debbie (New Mexico) Life is too short "Diana Curtis" wrote in message ... I think it's great that you didn't cancel the class, which a lot of people
would do without a certain number of students to teach. Your student alone will be great word of mouth for your next teaching gig, I'm sure. Hope you have a full house come the Fall. Thank you!
The class was at our library, people coming in got to see us having fun and they showed a lot of interest. I have a feeling next class will be full, yay! One on one was great!
It's wonderful hearing the joy you've found in clay, that's exactly what i hope to get across to the class. The beady head ladies I brought for show and tell made a few people laugh and that was a great feeling. I hope you have oodles of fun for many many years!
