wpi measure for Cebelia 40?
I'm trying to decide if I want to do a particular pattern with some lovely
100% silk I picked up from my LYS the other day. The wpi measure on the cones is 2/60. Is Cebelia comparable? Somehow I think my stuff is probably thinner than that. I may need to just buck up and pick a pattern (or design one) that would allow for some flexibility if I end up producing something too small. This silk is so thin, but so lovely that I can't wait to use it! Anastasia --trucking along in Latin, Old English, and two grad level writing/lit classes. May graduation, I hope! WIP: A Shetland shawl from Sharon Miller's book, the Magickal Earth Shawl from AGOL, Alpine Lace (I think that's the name) from AGOL, a men's sweater vest for my sweetie, and I just finished a Japanese lace sweater for myself. Now comes the hard part....disciplining myself enough to block it and sew it together! |
