Default Does anyone know about 'zip its'?

I've been searching like crazy on the web, but can't find what
I'm looking for. I recall there being a kit of some sort that was
called a 'zip it'. I think it was x-stitched then sewn together to
make a 3 dimensional case that one could use for make-up or whatever.
IIRC, it started with two squares of fabric and somehow they were sewn
together to make a 3D triangle.

My info is clear as mud, right? But does any of this ring a
bell with anyone? Any help would be much appreciated.

thanks, Linda

Thank you for taking the time to post this info These are
not what I was thinking of. The ones I recall are 3 dimensional. If
anyone has ever seen or made the chicken pincushions quilters make
they are similar to those. Hmmm....maybe I could find that pattern
and adapt it. Tia Mary, whatcha think?

take care, Linda

Bent Creek has a line of kits called "Zippers" which are cross stitched, but
I think they are finished however you want -- framing or whatever.

I have a pattern book for something that sounds similar out of plastic
canvas.... and naturally now that I'm looking for it I can't find
it..... scratch that. I have it now. Mine is called "Plastic Canvas
Christmas Squeezums" by the American School of Needlework, and as you
can imagine, it's all Christmas stuff. However, the basic idea nad
assembly would be the same regardless of subject matter.

If you're interested, please email me at sew unicorn at com cast dot
net (remove spaces and convert punctuation) and I'll be happy to send
it on!
