Default Dr. Seuss Cross Stitch

Hello,

I've lurked in this group for a very long time. Only posted a few times, sorry. :-) I'm searching for a Dr. Seuss cross stitch pattern, specifically one from his book "Oh The Places You'll Go." I want to make it for my new grandbaby due in Sept., they are decorating his nursery with that theme. If anyone can point me to where I might get one, I'd be grateful.

Hi Cindi,
Can't help with a source but, if you can't find one, it would be quite
easy to make your own pattern. Just put some graph paper into your
printer and photocopy it onto the graph paper. I've done that a number
of times and it works pretty well. At least picking out floss would be
*really* easy!

HTH!

I've never tried that. How do you know what colors to use? I guess with a children's book the pictures are fairly simple. I might try it if I can't find an actual pattern. I guess what have I got to lose?

And what does "HTH" mean?

Especially Dr. Seuss books! There's no shading in them whatsoever,
which will make color choice super-simple.

Exactly!!!

Hope That/This Helps

I forgot to mention yesterday......post more often! We need more people

I just bought a little set of bookmarks and one of them is a Dr. Seuss (if you don't have a kindle you can open in the free kindle app that's on the amazon website). At amazon.com for kindle it's http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...w_myk_ro_title

This surprises me, because Audrey does not license her husband's
characters to just anyone. I'd broached the subject once and was told
that she would have to see not just the pattern but the actual stitched
end result before giving permission to sell the pattern.
