Default progress and ponderings

I'm making good progress on my Downy quilts. I have 2 of their tops and
2 of mine quilted. Need to quilt the last 1 of each, bind them, and sew
their labels on. I *really* want to start cutting up my scraps into
useable squares of whatever sizes. How far do you think I'll get before
I just HAVE to sew something? LOL

Sounds like great progress to me. I started to cut scraps into strips
and squares once. Got about 3% of them done and then went and sewed
something :-) Your goal now is to do better than I did!

I will be mailing two Quilts for Kids (Downy) today. One is from their
kit and one from my stash. I was very impressed with the kit they
sent. The fabric was best quality and the pattern was easy and cute.
It was a four patch of dots and star prints alternating with a solid
square of a cute animal print. The border and backing were a stripe. I
added a yellow binding rather than bringing the backing to the front
as they suggested. That finishing technique always results in a wavy
edge for me. Wish I had time to make more quilts for them. Maybe that
would put a dent in my stash.
