OT - Request for parents of babies
Hi,
I know this is an odd request. I am sewing a dress and panties outfit (McCalls 3994, you can see it here http://www.mccallspatterns.com) for my 3 month old granddaughter. However, I'm making it in a larger size, for babies between 16 and 18 lbs. The directions for the panties say to measure a piece of elastic to fit comfortably around the babies thigh, then add a certain amount for overlap. Same for the waist. Needless to say, I can't measure my granddaughter as the size would be too small. So if you have a baby between 16 and 18 lbs, would you please do me a favor and tell me what his or her thigh and waist measurements are? Thanks! Kathy |
