I love quilting. I think I do very well at quilting. But, I suck at color choices. I'm stuck on what color to use for the background in the stack'n whack quilt I'm making out of my great bug fabric. The quilt will be for a 6 year old boy. So, I'm leaving it up to you guys. Vote for which background color you like and I'll tally the votes and go with the majority. Mardi, the snail's shell disappears on the red/orange b/g - would depend
on how many snail shells would end up touching in the final setting. It is probably too soon to make a decision about the b/g until more of the segments are seen. Jennifer in Ottawa http://interactive.rogers.com/jennell/Quiltedprojects http://interactive.rogers.com/jennell/photoalbum |

Really like the light blue best as it does not seem to take away from any of
the great bugs! This is such a fun question, at least for all the rest of us! Marilyn in Moravia |

1st choice: Can you find a green and gold fabric that would match catapillar
smiles AND the brighter gold? That might be my first choice. A stripe would be very appealing to children. 2nd choice: A turquoise blue that matches exactly the turquoise in the focus fabric's catapillar boots, a bit brighter than the light blue you have there. 3rd choice: A gold that matches exactly the focus fabric's stars. The yellow you have is a little duller than the one in the focus fabric. 4th choice: Red! It has the right brightness. 5th choice: Blue. 6th choice: Yellow. --Lia, who used to add choices to multiple choice tests in school, too. |

I like the blue - the red is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too strong and the
yellow is sort of insipid. Have fun. Sharon |
