MQing -spacing
I decided just to do a very simple diagonal MQ on my YBR. Sometimes I think
(okay, I know) I get too caught up in how fancy or intricate to be. And I decided if the front is simple, go with a simple quilting. This twin size will be put on a couch in our sunroom, so whoever wants to go take a nap will have a blankie. If I do diagonal rows, 3" apart just in one direction, will that be enough to hold the batting? Helen in MN |

It all depends on the batting. Look at the package and it should state how
closely it needs to be quilted. Stitching spacing can be anywhere from 10" to 1/4". So as you see, you have to be careful choosing your batting. I have made several YBR's and that is how I quilted all of them. I use Warm
and Natural and the quilting has held up very well. judy in fort worth remove 4 to reply directly |
