Default My EZ & Pretty Crochet Stitch Pattern

My EZ & pretty Crochet stitch pattern:

Chain multiples of 3 +1.
(for 6 x 6 squares, using a G hook, it's 19)

This is a FOUR row pattern repeat.

1. * HDC, HDC, SC * - rep. to end, ending in a SC.

2. * SC, HDC, HDC * - rep. to end, ending in a HDC.

3. * SC, SC, HDC * - rep. to end, ending in a HDC.

4. * HDC, SC, SC * - rep. to end, ending in a SC.

Repeat these four rows.

PS: This pattern works up really pretty for scarves, and it makes a simply
scrumtious afghan or throw!

Oooh, Katherine! It's such an EASY, but really pretty design, it would be
a GREAT one for you to start with, methinks!
Hugs,
Noreen
who is standing-by, ready to enable a crochet habit for you, dear friend!!!

Hi Noreen,

I'm printing off the picture. That will be my next afghan that I start.

Katherine, get a hook, it's not that hard to crochet. If a lefty can do it
right handed you can do it too.

Hugs,

Nora

Nora, for an afghan I'd duggest using an H, I or even a J hook....
And, Katherine, I'm a lefty who crochet's right-handed too, so if *I* can,
*you* can!
Hugs,
Noreen

Nora,
I have done granny squares, but the tension is not that important there. It
is the other stuff I find difficult - ch 58, work 1 dc into each st. Just
confusing! g

Hi Katherine,

Yes, it's confusing if you are using other than US patterns as the stitches are
different, but I know you can do it. Why do you think I stick to afghans
instead of doing sweaters?

Hugs,

Nora
