Default Covering knots

Could someone point me to a website that has some options for covering
tool handles? Have some work that involves a lot of waiting time but
it's not possible to pack Ashley or Graumont/Hensel around and I've
got no access to a photocopier.

Crowning and coxcombing and spanish hitching are the three most popular
ways to cover tool handles you can cover the transistion points with
turksheads here is a link to a chisel handle that I did quite a few years
ago it is covered with government issue spar varnish that has held up well
over the years.

There's a very simple way to make a spiral covering that's mentioned
in the footnote of this page:
