Default Desperately seeking seersucker

Hi, I messed up a little five-inch heart and there is no fabric left
to replace it. It's for a baby quilt and I really want to have all
four hearts alike. It's seersucker, pretty old, white with tiny blue,
yellow and pink flowers on it. Lots of white in between the flowers.
If you have anything similar, please let me know today or this
evening. All I need is a little five-inch square to cut into a heart.

Thanks so much for checking your stashes,
Sunny

Sunny,

I'm so sorry that I don't have this to send to you.

I hope someone else does have some on hand,

One trick if you don't find the matching seersucker (what on earth does that
name mean any way???) maybe you could consider a totally different
color/fabric heart with the label or the baby's name and birth date or
something along those lines. They always say- if you can't match it then
contrast it. ;-)

Hope you find what you are looking for!

Can you copy another of the hearts on your computer? Maybe some
Bubble Jet or a sheet designed for labels would work.

I would love to help but it's been a long time since I even saw seersucker.
Leslie's idea to make the 4th heart very special should do fine. Anna
Belle's suggestion for copying one on a Treasures sheet would work too if
you have a nice printer - mine's not so hot. Or maybe not. I can't think
how you'd make it pucker. This question is too hard. Can we have an easy
one next? Polly

From Wikipedia with reference to the New American Heritage Dictionary:
"The word came into English from Hindi, which originates from the
Persian words "shir o shekar," meaning "milk and sugar", probably from
the resemblance of its smooth and rough stripes to the smooth surface of
milk and bumpy texture of sugar"

Thanks, everybody. I actually managed to rescue the heart in question.
Just took a little .... fiddling with some stitches on my Pfaff. It's
a friend's project that she's making for a friend of her daughter. The
friend just had a little girl and this little quilt is going to be
sooooo feminine and lovely. I had so much fun working on it with her.
Now I want to buy seersucker on Ebay (where there is TONS of sweet
vintage seersucker, but a bit pricey) and make something for a baby
girl. I don't know any baby girls, but that never stopped me before.
Somewhere in the world is a baby girl who needs a sweet, light,
perfect little quilt to be wrapped in and I'm just the crazy lady to
make it.

Love ya all,
Sunny

I wish I had some to send you. But not an inch of seersucker in my stash.
