Miss Fussy Rose's First Ever Happy Dance!!
She is jubilent and giddy! She is prancing around like nobody's business!
Just in the nick of time (takes after her mother, that one), Miss Fussy Rose has finished her very first quilt and will be entering it in the NC State Fair! A doll-sized 16-patch charm quilt, it is hand-pieced and machine quilted, with rainbow variegated thread. Pics to follow it's showing in the Hobbies and Handicrafts building. This building also sells some of the best fudge I've ever tasted, and is one of the most popular places for fairgoers to visit. While there, they peruse the exhibits, always well-displayed. Therefore, Miss Fussy Rose's quilt is likely to be seen my more people than any other exhibit at the fair! There are now more quilters than non-quilters in my household. The stash is not safe. -- Wendy http://griffinsflight.com/Quilting/quilt1.htm de-fang email address to reply |

When looking for Miss Fussy Rose's quilt, it's about 14" square, mostly
pinks and purples, one patch has a crescent moon and star fabric, another has yellow daisies. The ladies who set things up were oooohing and ahhhhing over it, so I'm pretty sure it will be well displayed! -- Wendy http://griffinsflight.com/Quilting/quilt1.htm de-fang email address to reply "Marcia Smith aka ThreadHead" wrote in message . com... There are now more quilters than non-quilters in my household. The stash is not safe. Uh-oh.... There's always a down side, isn't there? You'll just have to let each quilter accumulate her own private stash -- from the store, not from yours. Ooooo! Cool beans! Please send her addy here
too...chip16attriad.rr.com.... I'll send something for her pinkypurpley stash, and you're not allowed to, ahem, appropriate it...or fondle it till you wear holes in it...Does she have her own stash box yet?? I shall advise her to keep trained bumble bees in it to ward off fondlers. (Watch-bees are what quilting bee folks use to guard their goodies). chipper "MoragP" wrote in message ...
