Default long diamond twist drills

Hi all,
(1) Does anyone here know of a manufacturer that makes diamond coated
twist drills that are under 1mm in diameter and capable of drilling up to
one and a half inches in depth? Stone to be drilled includes Aventurine,
Japer, various Agates and a few that are higher on the MOHS scale but not
facet grade.
(2) Planning to use a drip type system with catch basin/tub for water to
cool the bit and stone instead of submerging the stone. Has anyone tried
this already, or should I try it and let you all know if it works?
Any and all help with Q1 will be greatly appreciated. Any constructive
critcism or warnings on Q2 (aside from carefully working with electrically
powered tools and water--I know that one already) will also be appreciated.
TIA
Jerry
