are a good teacher mirjam Kudzu, or Kuzu in Japanese is a vine that's become a rampant weed in the southeastern US. In Japan the leaves are used as cattle feed for Kobe beef, the root yields a fine food starch, and the fibers inside the stems are used to make a light cloth.
