I have finally got through to an answering machine.(2.35 Eastern time). I
hope it is the right number!! I left a message saying who I am, and would
she call either me or Sheena, so we can spread the word to all who are
concerned for her safety.

She did say that Internet was still unavailable to her, however as soon as

I have just spoken to Lucille (Gillian also but she can't get on the
net just now) and she is fine. She sounded in excellent spirits. She
and her two friends and two dogs were holed up together and perfectly
safe but lost power for 24 hours, water for somewhat longer and the
'phone until just now.

She said all the bushes and trees are gone from her garden and
although the wind was never terrible, it was constant for nearly three
days and consequently did a fair amount of damage.
