when I am arguing with the cardiologist next time
I will keep this in mind. He says no meat so I guess
even though the soy doesn't actually help with cholesterol
it is keeping you from eating meat?
I am ready to throw
up my hands and bake a cream pie : )

Made me feel better about not having tons soy due to his thyroid medicine.
(keeps it from asorbing right) And I now know it won't necessarily help me
with those power surges vbg

Wait a moment! Soy gives synthroid an absorbtion problem? Should I
toss out the soy sauce? DH seldom uses it, but now I wonder if it's
ok for him to have at all.

Thanks for both replies Jan. I'll have DH look for that book and I'll
check out the web pages tomorrow. He did try soy milk but hated it
and said he'd rather stick to using cow milk. He is also lactose
intolerant so he uses Lactaid to help him digest milk when he has it,
which is seldom.
