I hope you aren't referring to me - I'm just clarifying statements made
about me.

Helps with my compassionate-o-meter...since I'm now
being rated, and all.

(Holding up a 5.6 for technical merit, but a 5.9 for artistic impression)

Hey, you were still able to use them as crayons afterwards - weren't
you ?

Yep, they were just a little more tricky to hold! ROFL

I think ol' Rosie was only seen this side of the pond. My Aunty
Betty was a "Rosie"! CiaoMeow ^;;^

Oooh ! Was she a Bitter Betty ????

Okay. Now this has come back from the dark recesses of my mind:

Betty Botter bought some butter, but, she said "the butter's bitter. If I
put it in my batter, it will make the batter bitter, but a bit of better
butter, that would make the batter better."
So she bought a bit of butter better than the bitter butter. When she put
it in her batter, then the batter wasn't bitter. So twas better Betty
Botter bought a bit of better butter.

Oh, we had those too, of course, but I don`t remember them having been
called anything in particular, do you Sheena? My Dad was in the National
Fire Service, during the war, and worked in an aircraft factory in his
"spare" time, while Mum held his job in a "Gentleman`s Outfitters" until the
war was over (and looked after me).

Who the devil is Rosie Riveter?

Rosie the Riveter did her patriotic duty by going to work in the
factories while the men were off at war.

To say it properly, a la Cockney, you have to use the "Glottal stop" (ie:
leave out all the "T`s"!) Try it!!! LOL!
