The 14 count does come in 43" width which will yield 3 1/2 " on each
side. You will need 1 1/2 yards

Umm, err. As I recall, we established the stitched size of the design you were
inquiring about as 36" square. If this is so, and if, as the email above
suggested, 43 inches is enough to allow a generous working amount/hem all
around, then you do *not* need 1 1/2 yards in length, as the magazine's
follow-up email stated; you need, at most 1 1/4 yards (45") if you buy it from
a place that sells fabric by the 1/4 yard rather than the inch. As near as I
can tell, Zweigart Aida sells for about $30 a yard, full width, so that
unneeded 1/4 yard translates into $7.50, which buys a lot of DMC.

Thank you! I am going to go under the assumption that the size given in the
magazine was incorrect and go by the stitch count and purchasethe 43".
