Yes
I can purchase the batting from her; she has a large selection of
stitch patterns and thread colors to choose from; she meets the agreed
to deadline.

I’m doing a small-business course, and I need to do this survey
amongst a group of people of my choice. Because most of this stuff is
new to me, and I’m really quite nervous, I’ve chosen quilt-makers - to
stay in my comfort-zone!!! I’d be really grateful for some responses,
especially (but not only) from Australia.

1. * * *Where do you live (town, state)?
2. * * *About how many quilts do you make per year?
3. * * *Do you use a professional machine quilter?
4. * * *What are the 3 (or more) handiest features of their service?

Thank you very, very much.
I’ll let you know the results- Hide quoted text -

Oh my gosh, I'm sorry to clutter up the group. I'm new to this stuff,
and I started replying to individuals to thank them for participating.
And instead of 'reply to author', i've started posting them all for
everyone to see. Very boring reading my thanks over and over. Sorry.

Let me just reply to everyone and say THAN YOU VERY MUCH for your help

2. 3-4 small, maybe 1 large p.a.
3. No, enjoy doing it all myself.

Don't worry about replying to everyone privately or here --- just a
nice thankyou to all in a day or two will please us! Already you are
more considerate than some looking for data smile.

Rochester, Minnesota, USA
2. About how many quilts do you make per year?

6-8, mostly small ones
3. Do you use a professional machine quilter?

No. I do my own, either by hand or on my domestic machine
4. What are the 3 (or more) handiest features of their service?

I've never used one, but it would be nice to not have to handle the bulk
of the big quilts. We have many talented professional quilters in our
area; I'm just not willing to spend the money to hire one.

Piggybacking ...
1. Henderson, NV, USA
2. It varies. Sometimes as many as six, sometimes just a couple.
3. No. I've done that only twice in the past, but I really prefer to do
my own quilting on my "regular" sewing machine.
4. N/A

Default Survey for a course I’m doing…please help!

I'm piggybacking:

1) Springfield, IL
2) It varies, but at least 1 tablerunner or placemat set and 1 small quilt
3) On occassion, but I do a lot of my own quilting
4) no basting and less risk of puckers and other flaws in the backs/tops of
large (full, queen, or king) quilts. Not having to wrestle a large quilt
through my home machine.

Sorry, this apparently sent before I was finished.

1. Wayne, PA, US
2. 1 large (queen+) 3-4 smaller
3. No but have considered
4. a) wouldn't have to make the sandwich, b) would free up my time
for tops, c) stitching would be more accurate than my present machine
quilting skills.
