best size to mill basswood for carvers
I have some basswood logs to mill up and I was thinking of saving them
for carvers. What is a good utility dimension for this group. I was thinking of 6 X 8 X 48 inches. I would anchor seal the ends and sticker them on a pallet in my barn. How does 6 X 8 sound? I need to stay uniform for the drying phase. |

I never cut anythingf thicker than 2 1/2 inches thick. It just checks
too much and you lose a lot. You can always laminate the pieces together for a big piece Will "Bruce H" wrote in message om...
