Default Hummingbird quilt update

I wrote to Joan Shay this morning about the problem I had after washing
my Hummingbird quilt, and she answered me almost immediately! Here's
what she said:

"You are correct. The quilts can be washed.
I do not know what to tell you as I have washed them in the past without
a problem.
I have not washed the Hummingbird, but that should not differ from the
others that I have washed.
I am sorry for any inconvenience that it may have caused."

So now I know that I didn't do anything wrong in washing it, but I guess
I'll just have to deal with it. G It's nice to know that she's so
responsive!

Default Hummingbird quilt update

At the local quilt show yesterday, somebody asked me if I would rejoin the
guild. I said I didn't really need to since I could get so much quick help
from the Internet community. Sandy, you just proved my point beautifully!
I think it's great how responsive the entire Internet quilting community is.
And the "bigwigs" are right here with us! Thank you Joan Shay and Carol
Doak and Pat Sloan and Ami Simms and Ricky Tims and Alex Anderson and . . .
.. the list is endless, isn't it!?!
