Just finished "The Holy and the Broken" - it's about Leonard Cohen and
his song Hallelujah. Amazing book. Loved the song before Jeff Buckley sang it, before Shrek and still love it. The place the song seems to hold in so many hearts amazed me. Loved k.d. lang's version, found John Cale's rendition and it's moved above lang's and Buckley to rival Cohen's voice. GO READ THIS Cheryl |

GO READ THIS Yes ma'am!!! The public library has it but is currently checked out. I put a hold on it. I'm currently reading Wolfsbane and mistletoe by Charlaine Harris. It's a collection of short stories, different authors, about werewolves at Christmastime. -- Joan If worries can cure your sickness, prolong your life, or replace happiness, then go ahead and worry! I am wading my way through Doris Kearns Goodwin's book about Lincoln, A Team of Rivals. I am finding the beginning to be something of a slog - not as accessible as some of her other books.
