Default OT- Pet peeves

I have enjoyed all the pet peeves people have penned. Mine would incude:
DH and 25 yr. old son always piling dirty tupperware and pans IN the sink
instead of on the counter. So even before anyone can wash them, you have to
move everything out of the sink to put the stopper in. DH also refuses to
throw anything out- including 30 yr. old broken squash racquet that I keep
trying to move to the garbage and he keeps bringing back into the house.
But as my mother would say -if that is all you have to complain about- be
quiet- he isn't drinking, gambling or taking up with other women. She's
right!

HA! My pet peeve is just the opposite! My DH puts his dishes ON the
counter for all to see instead of IN the sink where they are hidden
from view. I keep asking him to put his dishes in the sink, but he is
selectively hard or hearing.

My real pet peeve is something entirely different, however. It's the
way our country has become more and more reliant on foreign oil when we
could be conserving and developing our own resources. But that dips
into the no-no realm of politics, so I won't go there.

Hi All,
I have no pet peeves. I try to enjoy life and see the best in
people. My husband died in an army airplane crash. I'd love to have
him stack dishes in the sink.
Back to quilting.......

Oh Kris, I'm sorry. This reminds me of my dad. He went to a lecture
and sat next to the Chicken soup book writer guy who came in late. At
the break the guy complained they were late because of his new wife not
knowing the proper directions. I guess he complained at length until my
dad (who is usually really quiet)finally said something similar to you.
Dad wished he could be late bacause of his wife since he had recently
lost her and missed her so. The guy didn't complain again.
Hugs, Taria

Hi Kris, I really do not have a Pet Peeve. Life is too precious for that.
My only Pet Peeve, if I have one, is Hypocrisy and the many forms it takes
in our everyday life. Linda
