Default John James Needles

I believe many people here have posted befoe about their
dissatisfaction with John James needles, and now I can add to that.
Last night I broke my fourth and last JJ needle. The first time I know
it was my fault because I was trying to thread something through I
should have known was too big. The second time it snapped when I
jumped up really quick from the couch because a cockroach had just
landed on me (roaches are always a problem in MS no matter how clean
your house is). Though I know I'd been holding the needle when I
jumped up, I didn't even know it was broken until I realized it was no
longer in my hand and then found the eye end dangling from the threads.
The second time I don't know how it broke; I just found the eye piece
dangling there again. The fourth time, last night, I was trying to
thread the same amount of silk thread through as I'd been using all
this time on my sampler, and it snapped right off. And this has all
been in the past month's time. I've never had needles break on me so
often, and I'm really not rough with my equipment.

Now I'm stuck with no needles I can use until I get the shipment I
ordered online. Though I know I could get needles at the local Hobby
Lobby, I had to order some more thread anyway. This time I'm getting
Piecemaker needles and hope they work better.
