Default Spring-bar holes

What's the trick or special tool for drilling the holes for spring-bars
in the lugs of a wris****ch?

All the tools I have at hand will leave me with a hole that's canted
out, not pointed at the other hole.

Or do you through-drill 'em and fill from the outside?

"Clutter"? This is an object-rich environment.

For what its worth, a dentists rt/angled cord drive hand piece should
have the requisite head clearance to get your hole correct. Not many
dentists use these nowadays.
A modern turbine water cooled hand piece would also do the job.
For all sorts of useful tools you need to be a regular visitor to your
local junk yard / car boot or garage sales.
hunting is half the fun of finding these things. Generally there very
cheap and can always be used as trade items for other gear.
you can never have enough tools if your a crafts person.
They open the door to new products that if you bought the tools new or
from a dealer youd never afford it.
