Gem faceting courses uk

Hello,

Does anyone know of any gemstone faceting courses in the UK, as I am
keen to try out this hobbey and books can only take you so far.

in the USA we have local lapidary clubs in most larger citys, the
larger non profit clubs teach faceting for a nominal fee. I learned
from buying a book and a machine, if you have polished stones before,
you should be able to pick it up pretty easily, faceting is definitly
not rocket science, its a learned skill or art, depending on the
machine used.
