I'm almost out of my new favorite silver plum glass, but fortunately I
have an in with my local supplier, and I know the glass she ordered -
100's of lbs. of it - arrives tomorrow and there's some silver plum
with my name on it!

So knowing that, I've decided I can let this set go out into the EBay
world ( see it at http://snipurl.com/92ri ). Silver plum, limpid
blue-violet pools and heavily silvered stringer - ivory and a mystery
(means I can't remember ) colour that adds a touch of rust red to the
mix.

Thanks as always for having a look!

I have a question. It may be that I need new glasses, or maybe I need to
stop Meg from touching the monitor screen, but I cant tell from the pictures
if the beads are smooth or deeply textured. I think they are stunning,
lovely works. If they are smooth then you did a marvelous job capturing
their depth in the photo, if they are textured then you did a great job
making beads that look like they want to be touched.

the heart be lacking and all the perfection means nothing.

Hi Diana - the silver foil melts into tiny.tiny spheres and does create
some surface texture. The beads are mostly smooth with occasional areas
which have tiny pure silver spheres. The magic of ivory glass wrapped
in silver is the huge amount of detail, and the caramel and silver
threads and dots that silvered ivory creates. Thanks for your kind
words about my work!I'm working to improve my photography, so that
people can see the fine details.
