Nora,

Here is a quick and easy pattern for specialty yarns. You can feel where to
insert the hook without having to see them well.

Kirsten,

Are you writing a novel about our group? Sure would make great reading.

I made a scarf using Homespun and was going to crochet it, but couldn't see

the
stitches so I ripped it out and did it in the garter stitch. It's nice and
soft, but I won't try it again. I'm too old for all these fancy yarns.

Hugs,

Nora

Well, I decided to make the sort of 'glove' which is basically a

know that isn't everyone's experience, but I'm a sucker for soft fluffy
things. And the yarn I have is purple, what more could a girl want?

So, I couldn't bear to put my knitting down, and I'd promised to go to a
party... so I took it with me.

I got many, many 'wow, what's that? I havem't knitted since I was a
child, but if I can knit something that looks like that, I might have to
start again' comments.

So, soft, fluffy, evangelising joy, here in Cambridge

That is so neat and it gives me an idea. You know what would be fun.
A little get together as well as a knitting/crocheting party.
We could sit around someone's home and have tea and coffee
and little snacks and sandwiches and knit and crochet and talk, talk
talk.

And they ould be rotating parties in your areas so everyone
could participate.

Wouldn't that be fun?

Yes, it would, but since we live so far apart, we will have to meet in
cyberspace. g

It would that No, the novel I'm writing is far worse than anything
involving rcty could *ever* be. It's about a woman who falls in love with
someone unsuitable, and ends up leaving her family. It's meant to be
really sad, but I suspect it will just be bad.

I guess the trick is to know what you like, no?

Sounds interesting. I should write a novel using my last relationship
as *research* and even though the relationship ended badly the story
doesn't have to. :-)

I've often thought I could write one and it might help me get over the
feelings I still have regarding that relationship.

Jaime,
Many authors get their start like that. This could be the silver lining you
need.

Jaime, that's what Danielle Steele does, she writes about what's happened in
her own life!

Really??!!?? Well I am going to have to get writing then. I have more
then enough for a story and it will give me something to do that will
help me get over things.
