Hi Kirsten,

Glad you are back knitting and are enjoying it. I haven't tried eyelash yarn, I
may pass on it.

Hugs,

Nora

I knit at church. I find it helps me to concentrate. I also figure God is
happier that I am there stitching rather than somewhere else doing something
else.

I'vbe been knitting so much I haven't had time for reading/posting
here... which is probably silly

I'm also doing National Novel Writing Month ; basically, trying to
write a 50,000 word novel in a month. I'm about
6,000 words through, so not doing too well (http://www.nanowrimo.org)

It's fun so long as you like fluffy things, and not being able to see
your stitch patterns doesn't bother you....

Kirsten,

Are you writing a novel about our group? Sure would make great reading.

I made a scarf using Homespun and was going to crochet it, but couldn't see the
stitches so I ripped it out and did it in the garter stitch. It's nice and
soft, but I won't try it again. I'm too old for all these fancy yarns.

Hugs,

Nora

I agree with Els on this. It looks very impressive when it is worked up.
Give it a try, Nora!
