Greater St. Louis MO quilt stores and quilters

Hello,
Someone from this group lives outside STL and asked about me driving over to
her town when I fly in 18 August. I can't remember your name! But, I will
not have a car during my short visit, I will be hanging around Union
Station. My health is so rollercoastery that I would hate to promise a
meetup and then not be able to meet up. I am not going to rent a car, but
use the metro if I feel like shopping. Is it long distance for me to call
you from the hotel in Union Station? Would you be able to drive into STL to
meet up and play 19 Aug morning?
