Default Movie "Picnic at Hanging Rock" and quilting connection.

Should have put this in the thread with all the comments about the
movie, but didn't think about it in time. G

One of the girls in the movie (Edith, I believe. The one with the
glasses.) is a quilter. Her name is Chris and she is on the DJRetreats
list. (An off shoot of the Dear Jane list.) She lives in Adelaide and
has wonderful amusing stories about life, the movie, and various other
things.

So this is not off topic... and it is nice to know that quilters are
everywhere.

Very cool!

It's been a *very* long time since I saw the movie -- so long that I
don't even remember what decade it was, but I think it was the late 70's
not long after it was released.

I *have* to go to Australia. I just really *have* to. And since DH got
a new job and a HUGE raise, it's more than possible even with two kids
in college -- and we both have valid passports cuz we went to Germany a
few years ago, woo hoo!

Can I hide in your suitcase? I'll be good, and I don't eat much...
