Default Clothing fabric help please

Hi Guys,
OK -- I have hit all of the Joann's in the area and can't find the fabric I
need. I bought some stuff about 2 months ago that was in with all that crappy
sale fabric they seem to have tons of. this is gonna be my "almost" costume
Mardi Gras gown for next years Bacchus Ball.
I have a design in mind and can make the gown but it will have to be my
"plan B" design. The fabric is black lycra type stuff which is covered with
rows of little lycra ruffles alternating with rows of what looks like black
Estaz fiber -- I kid you not! For those who don't know Estaz fibers, it is one
of the "hairy" ones -- short little pieces of sparkly plastic-y type stuff that
is all smooshed together somehow and is used to stitch stuff like ballerina
skirts on cutsey XS designs. I bought everything that was on the bolt whidh
was only about 1 1/2 yds. To do what I want with it, I really need 2 yards --
one yard for the front of the skirt and one yard for the back. This means I
need another full yard of this stuff and I can't find it anywhere. I can find
the fabric in navy blue, lime green, baby blue or the most god-awful yellow
ever imagined in an LSD induced trip! No more black is to be found -- at least
not around here.
So -- if any of you are gonna be out and about at your local Joanns, would
you check the sale fabric section? You'll KNOW this stuff when you see it
because all of those rows of teensy ruffles and the hairy Estaz like fibers
that are REALLY shimmery -- LOLOL! From the back side, all you see are the
rows of stitching that holds the ruffles and the hairy stuff to the lycra
ground. If you find it, buy me a yard (2 if they have it) and I will send you
money, stash, chocolate, my first born -- just about anything!!! You all know
MOI and know I am good for it so you don't need to come home and e-mail me that
you have found it and ask should you buy it. I don't care if five of you buy
it and e-mail me!!! I'll take it all and reimburse all of you for it -- that's
how bad I want it. Besides, if I got THAT much of it, I could make the hooded
cape that I really want to have too :-)))))! CiaoMeow ^;;^

With this description, sounds hard to miss. I'll try the hancock's and
G-Street Fabrics (there's a huge one near me). You just never know.

Is there any way you can post a picture of this fabric? It was a great
description, but I'm terrible at interpreting descriptions.
We have a Hancock's, Joann's and another craft store (which just bacame
a Ben Franklin's) that has a lot of fabric. And I can't imagine that
Mardi Gras fabric would sell very well in North Dakota! LOL!

LOLOL -- well, it's not Mardi Gras fabric, just the fabric I want to make my
dress out of for the Bacchus Ball next Feb in New Orleans. I can scan the
fabric and then e-mail you a pic of it. I have no place on the net that I post
pics anymore. I'll have to wait until DH gets home so he can show me how to
use the new scanner he bought a few months ago. I have the copy function down
pat but haven't had to use the scanner yet :-))). Also, trust me -- there is
NO WAY you could ever NOT recognize this fabric :-))) HONEST!!! The fabric is
some flavour of Lycra so it is stretchy in both directions, the ruffle rows are
about 1/5" wide; the sparkly, hairy stuff is maybe 1/4" wide; the rows
alternate between ruffles and sparkles and are 1" on center; black is black
unless you are seriously color blind and then it's anybody's guess :-))).
When DH gets home tonight, I'll have him show me how to scan and then I'll
send the scan to anyone who wants it. But trust me, if you see this fabric
you'll KNOW it's the right stuff. I mean, who, in their right mind, would make
more than ONE type of fabric like this -- LOLOL? If I could wear either that
psychadelic yellow or the billious lime green, I would have gotten one of those
colors. BOY -- you'd see me coming from about a bazillion miles away -- LOLOL!

Did anyone catch the name of the fabric and/or manufacturer? It might
be available online.
