Are you a troll, or just extremely clueless? Abrasha http://www.abrasha.com How 'bout perhaps just someone for whom english is not a strong first language, and who's new to the group. Maybe a troll, but just as likely, a newcomer who really IS just curious about those questions, even if the "asia" one wasn't precise enough to make you happy. anyone else care to give a quick explanation of how to identify pearls? Or should I? I hate to jump in first, being the moderator and all... Peter |

Ruth? or Rozita? are you one and the same?
The trouble today is that many people think they are entitled as of devine right! to have real know how for no effort at all, by just writng a few words to a news group. Its time that the wider public realised this is not always the case, and perhaps made an effort to go to a library and get some books on their query, then, if they are stumped come to a newsgroup such as this, tell us what youve tried to find out, before getting all touchy about a reply from a master. Weve spent years and a lot of effort gaining the ultimate knowhow in our chosen vocation and dont just give it away that easily. You have to earn the right to real knowhow. Besides, there are a lot of thick people about. Ted Frater. |

Ruth? or Rozita? are you one and the same? Ted Frater. Hi Ted, I hate to break this to you but not everyone whose name begins with R is the same person. Are you 'Tess' at weekends? I was just exercising my divine right to express an opinion. I didn't realise I was treading on hallowed ground . Most of the time I am too busy making jewellery to involve myself in playground tantrums. Besides, there are a lot of thick people about. Hmmmm. I didn't realise this group was moderated by MENSA......... Ruth |
