Default World WIde Quilt Show

Hey Jeri!

I was going to do this but my problem is - I'm gonna be in Hawaii!!! Should
I remove the spread from my bed there and hang it over the balcony and take
a photo? Or can I send in a photo early and "pretend" it was on the 5th?

It's a movement started on the about.com quilting forum. Mark your
calendars!
June 5th......anytime

It's the official first annual World Wide Airing of the Quilts Day. Hang a
quilt outside on a clothesline or over a balcony rail or anywhere! Wouldn't
it be wonderful if the whole world became one big quilt show for a day? )

Pass the word to your guilds, quilt shops, friends and neighbors.

If you can, take a picture and email it to
The pictures will be displayed here

Hi Sharon,
I'm not the originator of the idea I was just passing the word along. I
think the pictures and website were an afterthought. The main reason for the
idea was how wonderful it would be to drive down any street around the world
and see quilts hanging. Having said that I can't imagine anyone would turn
down a picture that was taken of a quilt being aired before the 5th. )

I won't be home on the 5th either. I'll be headed to an indoor quilt show so
if I do manage to get a quilt out on the line it's going to be a very quick
airing. lol

Have fun in Hawaii!!
