um, Margie? I, um, kinda mentioned that in the very paragraph you quoted *s*
But thank you for the reminder I kinda figured I'd use the FMG as a visual reference guide......then I'd go hunt and search till I found the best prices for what I'd like. So yeah...checking out Marjean's store is on my list of things to do..um..again. (Been there browsing twice already this week, lol) I'm just miffed cause her sale is this weekend, and I won't be able to take advantage of those prices once my check comes in. (Although, I'm probably going to decline DH's offer of me going to see Troy next week in lieu of buying beads all the sooner) And don't forget Marjean's special this weekend, make your money stretch, Candace. I quote: Here's the deal: Free shipping (within the US) and 10% off every item purchased between 12:01 AM SATURDAY, May 22nd and 11:59 PM SUNDAY, MAy 23rd. And I mean *every* item, including those already on sale. Your invoices will reflect the discount as I won't be changing the prices you see in the store for this sale. International customers can take advantage of the 10% off part of this sale only - sorry!! -- Margie http://www.handcraftedjewelry.com/st...asp?userid=261 http://www.picturetrail.com/margiek |

you too? I just got my second one...nothing is right until at least the second
one. For example..I poured tea into the baby's sippie cup...which was half full of milk. But I didn't serve the cinnamon rolls I intended to....even I couldn't miss the fuzzy growth (EW)...too bad for Dh...apparently at 4:30 this morning...it escaped him gag Oops, I guess I was half-arsed reading. Sorry. Best go get that second cup of coffee NOW. g -- Margie |

I'm debating on the best way to tell him...yeah, it would probably be kinder
not to tell him, but I asked him to clean out the litter box and he didn't. (Candace) wrote: you too? I just got my second one...nothing is right until at least the second one. Fantastic!!
-- Debbie (New Mexico) Life is too short "Candace" wrote in message ... Well.....I finally get to do it. Yup, I get to place a catalogue order for beads. And not a ten or twenty or even fifty dollar order----I have a whole $150 at my disposal!!!!! I got my FMG book the other day, and I'm already $25 deep in the planning, just in faceted fire polish. And how does the financially challenged Candace get to do this, you might ask? The answer is simple: For the first time in who knows how long...it is the 20th of the month, all of our bills are paid, and all of our bills for next month will be paid by the 12th. And we only have to use DH's paycheck to do it, and there's plenty left over for day to day expenses. Which means....I get to use my child support check next month for what *I* want! (Minus about 40 bucks for DH's magazine subscription he's been wanting for a year) Elation doesn't even begin to cover what I'm feeling. And as much as a big chunk of that is the thought of all those beads---it's really the fact that the bills are paid, we'll have no trouble paying them from now on, and we didn't/won't ask for anybody's help (i.e. in laws) to do it. Feels like manna And, for the first time in three weeks...my migraine took a very long break today! I agree. You can get tons of stuff from MJ. I shop at her store whenever I
have money. lol I have never had a bad transaction and she's wonderful!!!!!!! -- Debbie (New Mexico) Life is too short "Kathy N-V" wrote in message .com... Look all you'd like at the fire polished stuff in the FMG catalog, but when it comes time to spend your $150, I'd buy from our own Marjean from Halsey Trading on Ebay. Her service is a million times better, the prices are also much better, and you're supporting a fellow beadworker to me that equals win=win=win. For $150, you are going to be dismayed by the number of beads that buys, until you get used to spending ungodly sums. But it will go further at Marjean's place than anywhere else. If you want to experiment with white fresh water pearls, write me privately. I might have a string or ten to part with. :-) In addition to the good stuff from Marjean, I'd suggest a tube of 8/0 or 6/0 seed beads as spacers. They look great for very little money. My personal favorite seed bead for this purpose is a matte bronze 6/0. Gives a golden glint at a nothing like gold price. Get a small spool of Fireline for stringing, loomwork and beadweaving needs. 6 lb Fireline or 8 lb PowerPro bother work very well, and don't require a lot of tools to finish off, just knot the finding in place (with a bead tip or not, your choice) and dab the knot with a clear bit of nail polish to weld it.
